[ Function and use ]
Etodolec is used for the treatment of inflammation
and pain caused by osteoarthritis and rheumatoid
arthritis as well as soft tissue injuries, such
as tendonitis and bursitis. Etodolac is alse
used for rapid relief of mild to moderate pain,
such as with menstrual cramps.
[ Usage and dosage ]

Extended Release Table ( Lodine XL )
1) General
Pain Relief: Take 200 to 400 milligrams
every 6 to 8 hours as needed. Ordinarily you should
not take more than 1,000 milligrams a day, although
your doctor may ircrease the dose to 1,200 milligrams
a day if absolutely necessary.
2)Osteoarthritis
and Rheumatoid Arthritis:
The starting dose of Lodine
is 300 milligrams 2 or 3 times a day, or 400 or
500 milligrams twice a day. The usual daily maximum
rangs from 600 to 1,000 milligrams, although you
doctor may prescribe as much as 1,200 milligams
a day if necessary.
The usual dose of Lodine XL
is 400 to 1,200 milligrams taken once a day.
Your
doctor will stick with the lowest close that proves
effective.
3)Children: The safety and effectiveness
of Lodine have not bee established in children.
